this is interesting, considering i’ve never considered myself part of a “lesbian community” — attacked and rejected by them, judged by them, yes. but i am not a part of that mess at my school.

i feel like there’s a significant critical analysis to be offered about the feminist ethic reprinted below this picture and the bitchy, catty, l-word culture that prevails not only in lesbian but also in “queer” communities among people of my generation. and if you asked me to guess what force turns women bitchy, catty, and against one another, and queers, too, i’d say hetero-patriarchy. ask yourself: who benefits?
